Soda Bread

 Soda Bread

Quick and easy, no proving and no bread flour needed.  I use plain white flour and as I don’t have buttermilk I used full fat milk with apple cider vinegar.


Ingredients 

350g plain flour

300ml milk with tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda


Method

Preheat oven at moderate temperature 

Dust a baking tray

Mix the ingredients 

Tip; Dip your hands into the flour, This will stop it sticking to your hands.

Shape into a ball and make a deep Cross cut into the dough. This will ensure it’s cooked through out.

Pop into oven for 30 minutes or until it forms a nice crust.
