Patisserie

My passion for baking started 5 years when after many years baking for family and friends, I started my own Bakery.  I started with market stalls at Farmers Markets and Festivals every weekend.  Mainly cooking and selling my own chutneys and relishes. Then adding my Brownies and Tea Loaves on my Stall. Since lockdown I’ve focused on local deliveries and an online Bakery specialising in contactless Letter Boxes.

I’m retiring in the next few months. But last year I decided to go back to school as It’s never too late to go back to school.  I took a Patisserie Course at my local college.

I graduated with a Distinction in Patisserie.  Here are a few of my speciality dishes. I prided myself on taste and presentation making use of my Vintage China and glassware.

Last Spring I went on an Artisan Bread Making Course at a Liverpool College.

My skills in bread making came in handy during lockdown. I went to Costco for a sack of bread flour, plain flour and self raising flour. I was pleased to be able to bake for family and friends during lockdown.
