 Homemade Shortbread 


Heart shapes perfect for Mother’s Day & Valentines Day 

I flavoured my shortbread with rose water & sprinkled a few rose petals in the dough.



Ingredients;  225g salted butter creamed with 125g caster sugar. Mix 360g plain flour, using your hand mix until it forms a firm dough.

I split the mixture into 3 portions. So I could add essence of orange with chopped pecans to one portion. Rosewater with rose petals to another. 3rd portion I left plain. 

A few other shapes I make. My Christmas Tree cutter makes ideal edible gifts.
